The Green Bay Packers' practice session Thursday was closed to the public.
It's in the midst of a week of training camp that will end with their first preseason game, Saturday afternoon in Cleveland against the Browns.
It was a good day for kickers Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph, wide receiver Christian Watson was back after an injury Wednesday and wide receiver Jayden Reed was back after a calf injury.

Kickers Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph still perfect
Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph are now 6-for-6 on field goals in Thursday's practice.
In the second round of kicks, Carlson was good from 49L, 50M and 51R. Joseph was good from 44R, 51R and 50M.
Carlson camp: 43-53 (81.1%)
Joseph camp: 46-53 (86.8%)

Eric Stokes gets interception on Jordan Love pass
Cornerback Eric Stokes picks quarterback Jordan Love in the end zone from inside the 5-yard line.
Love rolled right and tried to connect with Christian Watson, but his pass went straight to Stokes.
The defensive has 17 interceptions in camp, with seven off Love.

Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk, Royce Newman get first-team reps on offensive line
Sean Rhyan is getting first-team reps at right guard with Jordan Morgan out because of shoulder injury. But on his first rep, Rhyan false-starts.
Rookie Jacob Monk is now with the starting offensive line at right guard.
With Jenkins and Morgan out, Royce Newman is playing left guard. He had been buried on the depth chart for much of camp.

It's a different approach with practice closed to the public
The players are in shells and shorts and the practice is closed to the public.
The emphasis is on fundamental drills and some things to know about their opponent Saturday in Cleveland.
The offense and defense haven’t gone against each other at full speed yet.
The practice won’t be as long as normal camp days.

Christian Watson back at practice after injury Wednesday
Wide receiver Christian Watson is participating in practice after his injury scare at Wednesday's practice when he got hit in the knee.
Fellow wide receiver Jayden Reed is also back from his calf injury.
Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins is having a vet rest day. Rookie linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper isn't practicing because of an ankle injury.

LaFleur praises Josh Jacobs on return from injury
LaFleur said running back Josh Jacobs has put a couple of good days of practice together after returning from a groin injury.
"He's getting more comfortable with what we're asking him to do," LaFleur said.

LaFleur adds competition to kicker battle with new signing
LaFleur said the Packers added kicker Alex Hale after trying out some kickers in a workout.
He said it was a way to add competition to the position. He wouldn't say it was a reflection of the performance of the other kickers — Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph — so far.
